Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy today held a video conference with district Collectors and senior officials from across Telangana at the Command Control Center, directing them to remain on high alert in view of the heavy rains lashing the state.
The meeting was attended by Ministers Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, DGP Jitender, and other senior officials.
The Chief Minister instructed in-charge ministers and district administrations to take early action, particularly in flood-affected areas, including Hyderabad.

He stressed that helicopters should be kept ready for airlifting in case of sudden floods and that coordination with NDRF teams should be ensured.
The CM also directed officials to take measures to keep mobile transformers ready for emergency power restoration and to set up a toll-free number for public complaints during emergencies. All relevant departments were told to take suitable decisions regarding school, college, and IT sector employees, keeping safety in mind.
Revanth Reddy urged people to avoid stepping out during heavy downpours and asked authorities to maintain 24-hour availability to respond to any crisis, particularly in Hyderabad’s low-lying and flood-prone areas.
